Best fish and chips in Didcot. The fish is always good, the batter is crispy. The chips are generous and well cooked. All the staff are friendly and have a good sense of humour. We are usually dragged into the shop by our border collie, who is welcome to sit inside whilst we wait for our food. So dog friendly. I only wish that the restaurant section was open occasionally - sometimes it would be nice to sit down and eat there... Like at the weekend.

Lovely good, fresh and hot. Always. Every time I’ve been. Added bonus, the owners are lovely and friendly and always have a smile on their face. In my opinion they are the best fish and chip shop in didcot; and they have a huge selection of food on offer too

This is a great chip shop that sells great quality chips. The fish and kebab meat is really good. The best chip shop in Didcot. Hot crispy and golden brown chips. Friendly staff that want their customers to be happy with the food.I will drive past all the other chip shops in south Oxfordshire to get to this one. Well done guys you should be proud.

If only everything in life were this consistent and reliable!] Having had fish and chips at some of the (supposedly) best chippies in Britain (eg the Magpie Cafe at Whitby, reviewed on TripAdvisor and The Guardian), I can honestly say the Ladygrove is the best chippie of the lot. The spuds are top quality, the fish is always fresh, and the staff are always cheery. Oh yes, and it's brilliant value too. This chippie is one of the best things about living in Didcot.

Really lovely staff and the fish and chips are absolutely delicious. The batter is so light. Chicken chunks are really good and cooked to order as is the haddock.
